It was a busy day today. The Phillies played the Toronto Blue Jays and my sister Eileen, two of her daughters and two friends of Eileen and her daughters arrived from Philadelphia and were at the game.
They will be here until Saturday and will also attend the game tomorrow against the Boston Red Sox. They are all Phillies fans, and the trip is a birthday gift to my sister from her daughter's. Everyone had a good time at the game tied when a front based through with rain that ended the game in the 8th inning.
We were planning to go over to the beach after the game, but with the rain, we decided to go over to their Airbnb in Clearwater for a birthday dinner. The crew cooked a great meal, and we had ice cream cake with candles to celebrate my sister's birthday.
We all had a fun time telling family stories and recounting other adventures. A nice evening.
