More baseball. It was the NY Yankees in town to play the Phillies. It was another almost perfect day to watch baseball. It was sunny, warm (It hit 91 degrees but settled down to 84 degrees), and a little breeze and not excessive humidity.
Another large crowd of 9,700 with lots of NY Yankee fans and another full house. The Philles lost 4-2 with mostly Phillies major league players for 6 innings then minor league players came in and were unable to overcome the 2-run deficit in the later innings.
Day 46 - Phillies v NY Yankees
We decided to go out for dinner tonight. After some research, we decided to try something new. We found a Greek Italian restaurant not too far away called Foody's. It had great reviews and was named one of the best restaurants in Tampa. When we arrived, we were the only people in the restaurant besides the owner and bartender. Ought Oh, we thought. Well, it is Tuesday night so maybe the crowd comes in later. We decided to give it a shot. As it turned out, we had a great meal. A meatball appetizer, we split, and Kevin had a beef kabob, and I had a Gyro plate. Everything was delicious, reasonably priced, and enough left over to bring back for either snacks or maybe another meal. It turned out to be a great choice.
