Spring Training 2026 - Day 15

We drove over to Clearwater for breakfast at Lenny's today.  It is right down the street from the ballpark and has a Phillies theme.  There are lots of Phillies things in and out of the restaurant and everyone from visitors from the Philadelphia to local Phillies fans eat breakfast there at least once during spring training.  It is always crowded.  Even today before spring training starts, we had a 20-minute wait to get in.  The food is great and it has an extensive selection of Phillies style food (including Scrapple) served with a basket of Danish pastries with each entry along with generous portions of food, Philadelphia style.

               

                                  

                                         

 After breakfast we went over to the ballpark to see if anything was going on.  There wasn't. Pitchers and catchers report by February 11th and the first game is on February 22nd. It was an opportunity to show Kevin a little of the park before the games begin.

 

After our hearty breakfast, we had a late dinner back at the RV.  I grilled steaks with mushrooms and corn on the cob on the RV grill.  We also had twice-baked potatoes from the local Publix grocery store.

Tomorrow is Super Bowl Sunday.  Kevin is making Queso Dip to take to the Super Bowl Party potluck at the RV resort club house.
