I returned the rental car and had a ride from their off-airport location to the airport for my 12:30 pm flight to Tampa on Frontier Airlines. The flight was delayed due to a frozen jetway that couldn't be moved to the arriving airplane that I was scheduled to take. The arriving passengers couldn't get off so they towed the airplane to another gate. That gate also had a problem with their jetway as it couldn't roll over some ice and snow on the ramp. They finally solved that problem, and we departed about 45 minutes late. But as the old saying goes "I'd rather be on the ground wishing I was in the air than in the air wishing I was on the ground".
The flight to Tampa was without incident, Kevin met me at the airport, and we arrived at the RV park about 20 minutes away.
We went out to dinner and had a great meal at a nearby Texas Roadhouse Restaurant.
This ends the solo part of my trip east. Despite a lot of moving parts, it went well and I am here in Florida - an excellent adventure so far.
